"I’ll tell you why I love it here so much. I love it here so much because I went into the city and I went to some shows, I saw a beautiful beautiful show, and it was so amazing. Everyone was dancing and the girls were so beautiful and all their outfits matched and it was so theatrical and gorgeous and I saw such a love of individuality, I saw so many different kinds of people, everybody was so nice to us, and I really just can’t not cry and talk about it because I wish so much that I had that when I was growing up. I wish I had a place like that to go. But I didn’t yet, I-I found it later. I found it down the lower east-side of New York when I turned around 18 years old. So I just want you to know how incredibly amazing and fortunate you are to have such a diverse cultural city. It’s so amazing! And of course, my love for the LGBT community here in Bangkok is THIS FUCKING BIG! Thank you, on behalf of the LGBT community all over the world, all over the drag queens and lady boys all over the world, thank you for showing us how it’s done Bangkok! Tonight, please let’s relish in this freedom, and let’s relish in this liberation and in this moment Thailand. You know, the past few places I’ve been to, there’s been alot of protests made, and coming to Thailand has been the first country in a few shows that has really been excited and embraced me. So thank you so much, to all 50- or 60-thousand of you for believing in what I stand for. Put your hands up, put your hands up this time for all the kids around the world who don’t have a place to go; who don’t feel like they belong; do it for them and sing it so loud; sing it so loud Bangkok that they can hear you; sing it so loud that it comes out of the stadium and then the whole country and the whole world can hear you! Let’s say a prayer Thailand, for everybody here, to have a beautiful year. May you love yourself every second, may you love everybody around you, may you love your country, love your city, and if anything bothers you: just wipe your tears away, put some mascara on and you just keep going."
